In Memory of Elle -
Champion "Tri-umph Tenderly" (Feb. 1, 1995 - Dec. 27, 2010)

Tribute To A Best Friend
Sunlight streams through window pane
unto a spot on the floor....
then I remember,
it's where you used to lie,
but now you are no more.
Our feet walk down a hall of carpet,
and muted echoes sound....
then I remember,
It's where your paws would joyously abound.
A voice is heard along the road,
and up beyond the hill,
then I remember it can't be yours....
your golden voice is still.
But I'll take that vacant spot of floor
and empty muted hall
and lay them with the absent voice
and unused dish along the wall.
I'll wrap these treasured memorials
in a blanket of my love
and keep them for my best friend
until we meet above.

Today we commemorate  our beloved and lovely Welsh Corgi, "Elle" who passed on five weeks before her 16th birthday!  Yes, Elle would have been 16yrs old today and in dog years she  was reaching the grand old age of 112 years!

Elle,  at the age of two  received her Championship title for Best in Breed from the American Kennel Club and went on to be a Caring Critter Therapy Pet bringing joy and happiness to hospital patients in Houston, Texas with just a lick on their hand or allowing a pet on her head!  But perhaps  Elle is best known for her "Miss Princess" debut where she would once a  year  put on her Princess  Costume  and greet the trick or treaters at the door for Halloween!!

Elle was a faithful companion, a best friend and a very special dog...... we  miss her dearly.

Tri-umph Ten Lords a Leaping "Dante"

Dec. 17. 1997 to Jan. 07, 2010

Dante, our beloved Welsh Corgi, was a loyal friend, companion
and family member for the past 13 years.
Dante was well traveled as he lived in Houston,Tx,  Sao Paulo, Brazil, Miami , Fl, and Zurich, Switzerland and he became bilingual English/Spanish and was starting with German!!  He loved to sneak in the bedroom and sleep by the side of the bed, but he would only sneak in after we were in bed sleeping!  Dante was a "fluffy" welsh corgi that was shaved so that he looked like "bambi".  Dante's favorite past times were flipping his toys in the air and catching them
and chasing the ducks down the lake in Miami, Florida by his home.
We will all miss him dearly and he is survived by Ch. Tri-Umph Tenderly "Elle".
